DDD 016 – Simmer down.

It’s okay to take a day off.  I think Mark Cavendish made some comment about the courage it takes to rest.  Combine that with the torrential downpour situation here in Vancouver, and one might actually feel okay with a day off.

To the cultured ones out there, may I suggest our very own Vancouver Art Gallery.  One of the city’s most impressive people is Jeff Wall.  He is a game changer in the art world, with his photography inhabiting pretty much every global museum of repute.  MoMa, Tate Modern, Pompidou, yadda yadda.  And if you want to feel intellectually intimidated, source one of his essays; they are truly next level.

On to the event.  Mr Wall and Kathleen Bartels, director of the VAG, have co-curated a very impressive show featuring the work of Patrick Faigenbaum.  It is up until June 2nd.
